Informations

The French Physical Society is organizing its first "Physics and Life" day! It will be held on the 23rd of October 2023 at the Institut Jacques Monod in Paris (Buffon amphitheatre). Participation is free of charge.

The conference will cover a broad spectrum of the physics of life, from the molecular and cellular scale to that of the biosphere, including the physics of organisms and evolution.

The aim of this conference is to bring together scientists working in France in different fields of life physics, in order to reduce boundaries and support cross-disciplinary interactions and discoveries.

Experienced and young researchers are both invited to participate and submit their contributions.

Speakers are kindly asked to present slides in English. We recommend (but do not require) to speak in English. This will make it easier for non-French-speaking colleagues to follow the conference.
